WebAcappella Tempo is now live: Create your website online

The WebAcappella Tempo editor: toolbar with Separator, Component, Assistant, and Theme, above the homepage of a florist’s site currently being edited

It’s the big day: WebAcappella Tempo, our service for creating your own website online, is now open to everyone. You describe your business, and Tempo builds the website that keeps it running. And since this is a launch, we need your help: try it out, put it through its paces, and let us know anything that’s not working or anything that’s missing.

What is Tempo?

Tempo is a new way to build your website with WebAcappella, without installing anything: everything happens in your browser, whether on a computer or a tablet. You answer a few questions about your business, and Tempo writes and lays out a real first version in just a few minutes: text, pages, images, and colors. All you have to do is tweak it, then publish.

Example of a homepage for a bakery: menu, photo of the wood-fired oven, tagline, button to the shop, and house specialties

Just tell it what’s changed, and it’s done

A website isn’t built once and forgotten. Changing hours, a new price list, a photo to replace, the daily special: with your subscription, you simply ask the editor’s assistant, in your own words, and it’s done. Need to publish an article? It drafts it, you proofread it, and you publish it. And your site looks flawless on mobile.

That’s the whole idea behind Tempo: a tool that doesn’t abandon you on launch day, but continues to manage your site alongside you.

The building blocks for your business, already in the editor

Restaurant, salon, practice, gym, store: Tempo doesn’t leave you staring at a blank page. The blocks your business needs are already there, with no modules to install and no bill that keeps growing.

  • Restaurant Menu: sections, dishes, lunch specials, allergens, and a QR code that opens the menu on a phone and stays up to date even when the daily special changes.
  • Services and Rates, organized by category, with duration and price.
  • Schedule and Hours: the weekly schedule and your business hours.
  • Online Store, included in all plans, with no commission on your sales.
  • Blog and contact form.
  • Two languages starting with the first plan: AI translates your pages, and if you’re not satisfied with the translation, it can be redone.
  • Visitor Statistics: how many visits, to which pages, without cookies or trackers.
Tempo Schedule Block: yoga, cross-training, Pilates, and boxing classes scheduled throughout the week, with filter buttons by activity
Tempo Shop Block: three products with photos, prices, crossed-out promotional prices, and an “Add to Cart” button

How much does Tempo cost?

One price, and it never changes: €29 per month with annual payment (€348 per year, all taxes included), or €35 per month with no long-term commitment. The Business Plus plan includes five languages and 500 products for €69 per month. Your rate is locked in on the day you subscribe: if our prices ever go up, yours stays the same.

And your site remains yours. As long as you’re subscribed, a button in the editor lets you export it at any time as standard web pages, which you can host wherever you want. Only the online store, which needs our servers to take payments, stays out of the archive. We recently suggested a simple test to evaluate any website builder before committing: Tempo is happy to take it.

A 14-day trial, and even through October 31

The trial is comprehensive and doesn’t require a credit card. For the launch, it runs at least through October 31: sign up today, and you’ll have the entire month of October to get a feel for it.

During the trial, your site is live at a temporary address, which you can already share with others. Subscribing then gives your site its own address, opens it to Google indexing, and unlocks the editor’s assistant as well as a real person to answer your questions. The site you build during the trial is your actual site, not a demo: it remains exactly as it is on the day you subscribe.

It’s a launch: we’re counting on you

Pencil, ruler, adjustable wrench: Octave is hard at work on your website.

Tempo has just rolled out of the workshop. We’ve tested it thoroughly, but nothing beats real-world use, with your specific business needs, your content, and your habits. So let’s be honest: you’re going to run into some glitches. A button that doesn’t respond, a page that displays incorrectly on your phone, a poorly translated text, a missing section for your business, a setting you can’t find. We value every piece of feedback, no matter how minor.

This isn’t just a polite formality. On the very first evening, a tester reported that creating a blog post wasn’t working: the fix was live the next morning. That’s exactly how we want to grow Tempo, together with you.

To get in touch:

  • On the forum, in the new WebAcappella Tempo category: create a new thread for each issue, describing what you were doing, what you expected to happen, and include a screenshot if possible. Your feedback also helps other users.
  • From your Tempo dashboard, via “Contact Us,” for anything related to your account or subscription (invoices, payments, cancellations): these matters don’t belong on a public forum.

Found a bug, noticed something missing, or have an idea? The WebAcappella Tempo category on the forum is waiting for you.

And what about WebAcappella Fusion?

Fusion is still going strong and continues to evolve. There’s no monthly subscription for Fusion, and there aren’t any plans for one: your license remains valid for life, and your site stays with the hosting provider of your choice.

The two tools serve different purposes. If you like to have control over every detail from your computer, Fusion is still your workshop. If you prefer to delegate, Tempo is for you. They build pages in such different ways that a Fusion project cannot be imported into Tempo: these are two distinct paths, not a migration. The “Fusion or Tempo?” page on our site will help you choose.

Now it’s your turn

Tempo has been a lot of work, and seeing the first sites come out of it is a real joy. The only one missing is yours. Create your account, describe your business, watch Octave, the octopus who guides you through Tempo, get to work, then tell us what you think, the good and the not-so-good.

14-day full trial, no credit card required, extended through October 31 for the launch.
